When Kirsty from Soberbuzz Scotland CIC asked me to put together Christmas Gift Ideas for the Sober and Sober Curious I already knew exactly what I would include! Many people still think that buying a Christmas gift for someone that is sober or cutting back on alcohol is hard (let's face it, buying someone a bottle of alcoholic Prosecco is so old school, and pretty damn lazy!) - but it's really not!
Here are some of my top suggestions (I must confess that there is definitely some self promotion in here!) and I'd love to hear in the comments your ideas too!
SOMETHING TO DRINK
Jump Ship Brewing have a Christmas gift set of their beers which comes with a branded glass and beer mats! They also have a range of merch including hats and t-shirts! Check it all our HERE
Wild Eve is such a special drink! Handmade in small batches on the Isle of Harris, it has unique ingredients and a beautiful colour! They have lots of lovely gift hampers available with their skincare brand. Check them out HERE
Other Scottish Brands
SOMETHING TO WEAR
Sober and Curious T-shirts; I've been working on a range of products including t-shirts. I only have a few available at the moment, but I will continue to add to these in the new year. Please let me know if there are any specific designs/quotes/sayings you would like and I'll do my best to add these! Check the current designs out HERE
Soberbuzz Hoodies; what? Soberbuzz have hoodies?! Yes and they're fricken awesome! Check them out HERE
Jump Ship Hats; Choose from a cosy beanie or a cap (or if you're as obsessed as me, why not both?!). Check them out HERE
SOMETHING TO READ
Low No Drinker Magazine; available in both digital and hard copy, this magazine is my go to for all the latest news in the Low/No World! There is also a podcast which has almost 50 episodes! Check it out HERE
Sober and Curious Blogs; Yes, more self promotion here! I have a blog which I write about lots of different topics in the sober/sober curious world - check it out HERE
Quit Lit; The are hundreds of books out there that share other people's journeys around alcohol and addiction, and also books that provide education on alcohol - I have found these so important over the last few years and they make a great gift! Check out some of my top picks HERE
