Marty’s started the way all great food stories should: in a garage, with a borrowed juicer and a lot of tomato-stained optimism.
Paula and Martin - siblings, food obsessives, and the co-founders of Marty’s. Years ago, they set out to create a virgin Bloody Mary that actually tastes good. Something bold, fresh, and properly spiced. No gloopy textures, no weird additives - just clean ingredients and big flavour.
Their first batches were hand-pressed (literally) in South Africa, and the early taste tests were conducted on anyone we could bribe with juice. Fast forward a few years and Marty’s is now on shelves in nearly 2,000 stockists across South Africa and the UK.
They’ve gone from garage days to Great Taste Awards, but the obsession hasn’t changed. Still just the two of them, still tomato-mad, still chasing the perfect pour.

Most days aren’t brunches or flights to exotic places. They’re just… Tuesdays! But that doesn’t mean they have to be boring. Crack a can of Marty's, pour over ice, done 🍅 No mixing, no fuss - just a few spicy minutes to make the everyday feel a little less ordinary!
Bloody Beer (or a Michelada!) 🍅🍻
A Scottish twist on a Mexican Beer Cocktail - simply pour a can of Marty's in a glass and top up with beer, in this recipe I've used a JUMP SHIP JACKSTAFF IPA. The best part - this drink will naturally mix itself!
True North Bloody Mary
Tomato juice is a lot more versatile than it gets credit for and is great with a number of alcohol-free spirits. In this cocktail, I mixed together 50ml of Nomadic Spirit with the Mild Marty's Virgin Bloody Mary.
